I'm a US permanent resident!
... well, technically, not until I activate my visa but hey, I've got the actual visa in my hands!! I'm still in Vancouver, but will cross the border with the intention of living in the US on Wednesday!!
Montreal was a blast, and thank you to those of you on FB/TN who sent your thoughts and wishes to us!! 
DH has been posting pics on his FB album so I think if you are friends with me, then you can see the pics I'm tagged in, and probably the whole album as well. As you may have already seen, the trip was dedicated to food and beer. I'm trying to eat clean this week but it might be kind of hard as we want to get our last fill of good Vancouver dimsum. I swear, I can feel all that sodium flowing in my blood...
Now I'm trying to pack up what I can. The good thing is, Vancouver and Seattle are so close, I really only need to pack what I need for this season, and we can come back to get the rest.
I'm very sad to be leaving Vancouver, but we waited so long to be able to live in the same country. I'll be unemployed when I get there so might be on TN a lot in the next few weeks! I'm catching up on posts now, and am loving it!

what day? maybe some of us could make it work.
as for ramen, i like samurai noodle - it's just south of downtown, in the international district - walkable, or a short free bus ride away (just pop in the bus tunnel going south, get out at the I.D. stop). if you go, you'll have to let me know what you think - I don't know that I have had a lot of great ramen places to compare it to!

Just like Tara mentioned, Vancouver will certainly miss you, but what counts most is now you can now live as a married couple. That is such an incredible feeling and home is where you make it. So beyond happy for you & L. It's been a long time coming.
I am going to be in Seattle for the long weekend, will you be free for a gtg? Haven't see you seen you since Tina was here.
