Rec a good mop to clean my floors
I"m so sick of sweeping and mopping my floors with the basic mop. I hate having to wring it out and its just so dirty.
Is there anything out there that works better than your basic mop? I have seen on t.v those swiffers that shoot out water/whatever and it cleans your laminate floors ( which is what we have )
Anything that will vacuume and steam/clean your floors at the same time?
I have a baby and a toddler and I need to get those floors clean cuz I know in no time she will be crawling.
Any rec's would be appreciated and i'm sure will be better than what i'm using.
Tia
Re: Rec a good mop to clean my floors
The swiffer is probably not a good idea. It leaves the cleaner all over your floor.
Some people use steam mops (I had one and threw it out, it sucked). I sweep the floor with a microfiber broom and then mop the floor with a second microfiber broom (well, same broom different head). I think it's just one of those Quickie broom things from Target or Wegman's. I put hot water and vinegar in a spray bottle and mop a small section at a time. The microfiber absorbs the water and schmutz, so there is nothing to wring out. My floors have never been cleaner.

I"ll search through the pages and hopefully I will find some answers.
Thank you again for taking the time to respond.
