Cork flooring anyone?

I'm renting a place with cork flooring tiles.  They had a professional come in and, I guess, buff them and they looked wonderful and shiny.  I can't afford the buffing or sanding or whatever it was that they did, and regular cleaning (swiffer wet jet) just doesn't leave a gleam.  Anyone here know how to clean a cork floor without it looking dull?

Re: Cork flooring anyone?

  • I would google for ideas or call your local flooring store and ask what they suggest. You might also want to try just going over the floor with water and vinegar and a microfiber cloth(just attach it to your swiffer and mop without spraying the swiffer solution.). Swiffer wet jets leave solution on your floor which as you can see leaves a film. The water and vinegar will evaporate without leaving anything behind.
