Yay for Friday! How is everyone?
Doing good here. I will never understand why you always have to be super busy or not busy at all. Can't things just keep a steady pace. This week has been one of tons of stuff to do and I see it being that way for a couple of weeks. It's good and bad because it makes the weeks go faster but it also makes the weekends go even faster. Oh well.

Re: Happy Friday!
Morning.
I'm tired but excited to go to school tonight and get my books.
Have fun Michelle...I enjoyed getting mine too. When do you start classes?
Sept. 13th..which is the week of Emily's party. Good planning, huh? lol
Michelle, a little trick of the trade. Buy your books, find out when is the last day you can return then. If they are new do not take them out of the wrappings. Go to half.com and search for your books there. Normally, it's best to search by ISBN # to make sure you are getting the correct edition. Normally you will pay close to more than half of what the bookstore charges. For example, DH paid $100+ for a used book and found it on that web-site for $25 and in better condition than the one he bought.
Half.com is an offshoot of ebay, so paypal is a good way to pay. Also, amazon.com has textbooks sold the same way.
Morning! What a day!
I was up all night checking on Declan because he had to come home sick from daycare yesterday morning. He's still a little under the weather this morning so we went to the dr and he's at my mom's house now. Then I had to drive into work and got stuck in every possible construction zone in the state! UGH!
I hope everyone else is having a better day so far
Sweet Mel! Thanks for the tips! I just printed this off so I have referance. Thanks!!
Not a problem. I used to work at my school's bookstore and even with the discount of 20% books were still too expensive!
I know there are some schools that rent books, I would of gladly done that for the gen-ed glasses I had to take (i.e Bio, I'm sorry but I don't need that to do a Balance Sheet)
I wish I could have done that but with my financial aid I am forced to buy through the college. If I had the extra money I'd have paid for them and waited for the financial aid to pay me back but they don't cut checks until the middle of November. I don't know about accounting books but my science books were always $300-$400 new and $200 used.
