There is one supervisor at work that I don't really get along with... he looks like a leprechaun and is always asking me to do BS stuff for him when HE should be the one doing it. Well, he has 28 people in his branch that I have to put labor in for. He sent me his labor report RIGHT before I had to leave yesterday. No way I had time to work on it. He walks in first thing this morning and says "so, do you have my labor report finished yet?" I give him a blank stare and then tell him "Um, no because you didn't give it to me until I was leaving last night." His response "well, you've had 17 hours since then to work on it..." I will punch you in your effing throat. First of all, I can't do work from home due to government server restrictions. Second of all, don't be a freakin douche because YOU always turn in your labor report late.
So then he says "well, I need it done in about 30 minutes before I have to go to a meeting." Sorry pal... not going to happen. It takes WAY longer than 30 mintues to input time for 28 people, so you're sh!t out of luck. Bite me.
Re: You think I'll get fired for punching a supervisor in the face?
Parking lot. It can be done.
I am a goon, I feel bad that you have to deal with a$$holes like this at work. I would forever after make sure that his work load is at the absolute bottom of your "to-do" list!
And yep, he's totally on the bottom of my "to-do" list right now. Technically, I have until Monday morning to get his crap finished, so him asking for it to be done so soon, is complete crap. That's why the other 4 supervisors send me their labor reports like on Tuesday so I have plenty of time to get theirs done (which I finished all of them up by yesterday morning.). Not my fault that this guy ALWAYS waits until the last minute to get his in.
Stupid MFer just came by and said "Still working on it?" My response "I'm getting it done as fast as I can." Dude, you're an assshole.
ETA: I should have said "I'm right on top of that, Rose!!"
OH MY GOD I would stab him.
My co-worker ALWAYS gives me the time cards to enter at like 3:30 and I like to leave at 4. So obnoxious! Thing is though I have to stay and do it, because payroll has to be done the next morning!
I just replied to him in email with this:
In the future, if you don't mind, please give me a little more notice when you have a specific time that you need your labor input by. If you send it to me late on Thursday, I may not have time to get to it first thing in the morning, so please give me a heads up or please turn in your labor report a bit early. Thank you!
You're being very nice about the whole thing (at least that can't come back and bite you). Wait until jehawley comes and goons it up! haha
Yeah, I'm now sitting in my office with the door shut. I'm sick of people coming to me about BS stuff.
And I'll be damned if that same supervisor didn't just come walk right in my office when I clearly have a sign on the door saying "PLEASE KNOCK". I'm about to just lock it and pretend I'm not here.
THIS!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA!
Wow. That sucks. It must be a crappy couple of weeks for work... I got in trouble last week for not doing an orientation the way the high-up(s) wanted. I don't think I'm going to get fired... My boss says not, anyway!
It wasn't my finest presentation, by any means (an "off" day, for sure), but it would have been nice to have been told a) what to talk about, and b) how long to take. So now one of the most powerful people in the organization is going to be gunning for me for the rest of the time we both work here.
