yay for Friday! What's on the agenda for the weekend? Anything exciting?
Nothing too exciting planned for this weekend. Today after work I need to go for a Glucose Tolerance test to check for Gestational Diabetes (fun). Tomorrow and Sunday we have nothing planned and are winging it. Will probably just hangout at home or with the fam.

Re: TGIF!
DH and I will be driving upstate to visit my parents near Albany, and spending the day at the race track in Saratoga on Saturday. We'll drive home early Sunday and probably stop to do some shopping at Costco and for some clothing on the way. I can't wait to get out of the office so we can get up there!

I'll be doing this: Family reunion this weekend
Plus, attending the Great NY State Fair. Which means: mullet-watching, apple fritters, butter sculpture, sausage and pepper sandwiches, wine slushies, sheep-gazing, and ice cream.
Tonight, clean the apartment. Maybe start season 2 of The Closer.
Tomorrow; Brunch-fest! Having 4 friends over and i'm cooking huevos rancheros. Should be tons of fun.
Sunday; i work an open house in the afternoon, and DH and i are thinking of doing a date night afterwards. But the Emmy's are on Sunday night, so maybe we'll stay home and watch those instead...

It's funny you mentioned Saratoga Springs. My friend Rosanna was just telling me, not even an hour ago, that she is heading up there tonight and going to the track tomorrow...too funny.

Tonight: farewell party for a coworker then head home and crash
Sat: continue crashing all day Saturday to make up for all the lost sleep due to my mom's visit. DH may go hang with his buds in CT. Good for him.
Sun: I am supposed to be entertaining a friend and her two kids from England but I am seriously considering canceling. I know, I am bad.
But my mom just left and I just want to enjoy being DH and I alone again. And I have a feeling that this friend wants to spend a few days...

I'm working on a big final report from home today, so my plan is to bang it out and still have time to go enjoy the beautiful weather. Tonight DH and I will probably stay home a relax.
Tomorrow we might drive to Philly to hit up all of our old favorite places.
Sunday we are headed to a mini family reunion. My cousins from Mexico are in town for the US open and we haven't seen them in years. That should be fun.
Saratoga Springs is great - it's where I'm from! I give you all credit though for visiting on Travers weekend. I usually try to stay far away from the track but it is a fun atmosphere!
DH and I are heading to his parents' shore house for the weekend. I'm really excited because they will be away so we will have the place to ourselves. This will be our last little weekend getaway while it is still just the two of us!
315 Bride, the family reunion sounds so fun. You'll have to tell us how it went.
Friday: Finishing paint touching up from our bad paint job. It seems to never end. We just got netflix too, so I'm looking into what I can play instantly.
Saturday: DH's friend's surprise birthday party at a pool in NJ. I guess we'll be there awhile, because we're bringning the friend's mom. It's so unorganized, but DH said I don't have to worry about anything.
Sunday: I'm really hoping DH will help with a few things in the house before I go back to teaching Wed.
