Places to eat after the Reds game tonight?

We're playing the Chicago Cubs tonight, and it's also Fireworks Friday. While we'll eat something at the game, it won't be anything of substance. We'll end up getting a bite to eat afterwards, but not sure what restaurants will be open later (since we'll be staying back for the fireworks).

FWIW, we'll be traveling back up north to Mason area, so any place downtown upwards of 71 North would be fine....

Thanks!

  • Rock Bottom Brewery. Right on the square so you can park there, walk to the game, have dinner and be right where your car is.
  • Hey - we're going to the game too! I don't really have any helpful suggestions about food as we'd probably go to Rock Bottom too if we eat afterward, but I wanted to note that we'll be there.
  • I love Rock Bottom!! I also LOVE Nada, but call for reservations if you think you may go there.

  • Fun! I can't wait to go tonight! We better sock those Cubbies.

Rock Bottom is a great idea! I haven't been to Nada since our anni last year, so that is a great choice too. Maybe I will parking by Rock Bottom area- it is such a nice walk down there and luckily the weather seems nice today too.

  • There are lots of places, depending on your mood and timing - Shanghai Mamas good and open late. palamino you can sit in their bar area and eat aps - they are yummy. There is Nada, Bootsy's Sung, and a few small places.
  • BF & I are going to the game tonight, too! :) We live around the corner from the ballpark, so our resort is going to be to eat at home, lol. But if you're looking for something less crowded/off the beaten path, hike up Plum St and get a burger or pizza at Plum St Cafe (almost at 5th & Plum). They're open until 2:30am... not sure what the cutoff on food is, but everyone who works there is really nice, I'm sure if you ask sweetly, even if they're not supposed to, they'll pop a pizza in the oven for you.

There's also Mainstay two doors down. They serve food, but again, I don't know how late.

Palomino on Fountain Square has $5 (good) pizzas and $4 drafts all day, every day in the lounge. You can check their hours.

  • DH & I are going to the game tonight too! We will likely go to Hooters or BW3's for wings before the game. I'm not a lot of help but I just wanted to say, "Go Reds!"
