Re: Weekend plans, ladies?
Its going to be awesome weather around us this weekend, so were going to sit by the pool or head to the beach & relax.
I also have 5 chapters in my Fundementals of Nursing book to read before Monday ... =/ So I'll be working on that as well.
Well we will continue keeping the pacifier from our son. That's a pretty big task trying to get him to sleep without it.
Today: My mom and aunt are driving out here, they'll be here tonight. Our Navy counselor is visiting today too. I have to finish cleaning the house
Saturday: My mom and aunt are watching the boy. I have no idea what H and I are going to do but i can not wait!
Sunday: Packing up my mom's truck with the extra dresser and bed we have.
Hjmarie: i was just skimming through my fundamentals of nursing book the other day. I still go back to my books to reference something or to try to remember things I don't understand at work. I wish I could do the CEU's, but they get so darn expensive.

No real plans. Nothing planned for tonight - just dinner and relaxing, spending some time together. DH has been home around 9 every night this week because of football so I feel like we haven't had much time together.
Tomorrow: DH has football all day, so I plan to go through our wedding photos and pick out ones that I want to go in our album and do a temporary layout (we're going to DIY). I am going to write down the pics that should go in the proof album. Also need to get an oil change.
Sunday: church and then DH has football pics so I'll go hang out at that. Then just errands and typical Sunday stuff.
Tonight I hope to go to the gym. I got the membership a week ago but due to other commitments, I haven't made it there yet.
Tomorrow I am visiting my grandparents. They were unable to make it to the wedding due to distance/heat/being 85+ years old so I owe them a visit to show off some pictures! Afterwards, DH and I will be visiting with one of my sisters.
Sunday we have no plans. It sure feels good to say that!
my read shelf:
Books read in 2011: 32 of 75
This weekend is my FSIL (BIL's fiancee)'s Bach Party at the beach. I get out of work at noon today and will be heading down with her by 1:00
Then Sunday, I will be back to reality, trying to get stuff done for the work week. Grr...
mel - What areas are you looking to move?
I couldn?t believe how expensive my books were, but I guess it's a little less of a blow if I know that you use them again and again! I start my first nursing classes on Monday. Heading back to school after being off for 3 years! Eeeekk, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time!
Pick DH up at the airport 9:30pm Saturday!! Yay!!!
Then we're headed to my cottage Sunday morning (where we got married) and staying there until Tuesday. It's probably our last time up there for the year. I can't believe the summer went by that fast!!
July 10, 2010 Best. Day. Of. Life.
Today/Tonight: I have to go get my driver's license, go change my name at the bank, drop some boxes off at my new office, go for a pre-employment physical, and hopefully stop at a friend's house if she's home with the kids today! Tonight we are going to take it easy and just enjoy my last Friday of being a housewife. I am going to make something good for dinner and I think we are just going to watch a movie or play scrabble.
Tomorrow: I have a baby shower to go to, then we are heading up to Milwaukee for a concert (Mighty Mighty Bosstones)
Sunday: We are helping a friend host an event at her university, and it was fun to see our names in print on the invites! Hopefully a couple of our other friends will be able to go as well. And Sunday night we will just hang out.
Today: Dinner with friends, maybe an early bedtime.
Saturday: Maybe garage-saling, definitely hiking in the am. Going to have dinner with the in-laws for his dad's birthday and their anniversary.
Sunday: Church, hanging out. Maybe start working on photo books since we finally got our CD!
Today: I have a to-do list a mile long. I've crossed one item off of the list, but added three more! Laundry is currently in the works, and when I finish eating/taking my short break, I have to decide whether I am going to attack the bathtub or do more organizing. Right now, organizing is winning.
Tonight: Hopefully starting to make a short list of pro pics!
Tomorrow: Bank and Mets game! DH is finally going to get to see where his actual brick is (his wedding gift).
Sunday: Right now, nothing, but we're hoping that DH's best friend (our best man) and his g/f will have one of their pool parties/cookouts. But who knows?
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
Today we're relaxing a bit. Cleaning up the house (my parents come home tomorrow night...) then I'm shadowing my new editor at a football game tonight so he can teach me stats. I never had to do them at my last paper, so I get to learn today.
Then I have my own game tomorrow, pick up my parents tomorrow night. That's about it.
H comes home tonight! He's been gone all week for work again, so I can't wait to see him. We'll probably just bum around tonight.
Tomorrow I've got to get my car inspected and then we're going to a BBQ for two of my brother's friends who are basically like brothers to me. They're both National Guard and are being deployed in a few weeks, so their parents are having a going away BBQ for them. I have a feeling I'm going to be a mess saying goodbye.
Sunday we are plans free! Last Sunday we just hung out, put things away, and did nothing all day. We're going to do it again this weekend, haha. :-)
No plans for tonight.
Tomorrow my friends and I are going to the county fair here and then we have tickets to see Joe Nichols! Hubby and my other friend have a bachelor party.
Tonight: I'll probably organize our 2nd bedroom closet. I ordered shoe storage shelves and I've been dying to get the closet organized so I can put them in there and have my over 50 pairs of shoes nicely organized instead of thrown into bins. (p.s. I know I have a lot of shoes...but I really really love shoes!)
Tomorrow: I have to work until noon and DH will be packing for his work trip he leaves for on Sunday...boo. Then we may go to the waterpark here with my sister her BF, depending on the weather. Tomorrow night we're grilling out with my sister and her bf.
Sunday: DH leaves in the morning for his work trip and I will be going to my parents to have my BM dress altered for a wedding I'm in in 2 weeks. Then I'll probably do a little bit of cleaning then just relax.
Tomorrow: Cleaning the apartment..who knows how much longer we will be here?!
Sunday: Find out by this day if I got the job and if I did we will be putting an offer in on that marvelous house!!!
Hi Girls! I've been MIA!!
Last night I went to go see "The Switch" with a couple girlfriends! It was actually really good!!
The rest of the weekend is looking quiet, DH is on call all weekend so we'll probably just catch up on Dexter, lol. I think I might work on organizing my closet today though and try to get my fall clothes all together so my wardrobe is a bit more put together this season!
