Need book rec: Digital photography technique
Any of you pro/semi-pro/hobby photographers have any suggestions? BIL has been photographing with digital SLR for a while but I don't know how much reading he's done to improve his technique. He's done a decent amount of film stuff too. Anyway, I want to get him a book about this for his birthday. Anyone have a rec?

Anything by Scott Kelby or Dave Cross. They are EXCELLENT at what they do and EXCELLENT teachers as well.
There's books on everything, so if he's been photographing for awhile, it might be fun to get him some books on photographers like Eugene Atget or Ansell Adams or more recent photographers too. I like reading about techniques but sometimes I just like the coffee table books to peruse when I need some inspiration.
