Job/House..Vibes?
I had mentioned before I had a second interview today for position at a local optometrist office doing office work, sales, and technician work. I think the interview went really well. I'll know before Monday. *fingers crossed*.
Today DH and I got back into looking at homes for sale. We found one in WV.. that I literally fell in love with. It's amazing. Built in 1920 completely renovated, sooo much character, lots of space (over 2400 sq ft), and a 2 car garage.
Here are some pictures..
So it's gorgeous. I feel an odd attachement to it. Like love at first sight? haha! There's 2 other great fun bonuses. There is an actual laundry shute to the little laundry room and there's this little cubbie hole spot off the master bedroom right where one of the widows are. It's tiny, but so cute and a great little "hidden" addition. Oh and the overall use of space is amazing, cabinetry and shelves built into the walls. And every window has a "window seat". LOVE!
And now we wait to see if I get this job and if I do we will be putting an offer in. We can afford it with DH income alone, but for more stability I want to have a job too. Here's hoping everything works out!!

i love it!!!! SO many vibes!!! it looks freaking AMAZING!
short sales can be crappy though, so watch for that. i would honestly put an offer in now, and then see how things go with your job situation because it could literally be MONTHS before they okay anything. my friends (they are bf/gf) put in an offer for a house in FEBRUARY and they still are "in process" because the banks dont care and can take their sweet old time with paperwork.
so maybe thinking about starting the process for it now??? cause it could take forever! short sales are notorious for that!
[EDIT] i just re-read what you wrote, and do you mean the house next to it is a short sale and this one isn't? cause if so, that is great!

Jacqui: I mean the one beside it is a short sale and this one, the house we want to put an offer in on is a foreclosure. We're staying away from short sales, we've been warned. haha!
Oh and our realtor would get a $1500 selling agent bonus and said he's going to put $1000 back to us to help lower the interest rate.
