Upstate NY Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Has anyone used them? I was referred there yesterday. Any insight? What should I expect from my first appointment? Should DH come with me?
Re: CNY fertility
Hey there! We did and LOVED them! There are a few others on here as well (Two*True, Piccolina...). May want to post this over on the Bump side as well - may get more viewers.
I would imagine your first appointment would be a review of your history, meet the doctors, get a general idea of what your next steps might be and what procedures, etc... would be included.
Also, if I remember correctly, they would ask you for your insurance and Rx information and they will then contact them for you to find out what will be covered and what won't. And then they can discuss financing, etc..., should it be needed going forward.
And absolutely bring your DH with you. It's good to have both sides hear as it can be a lot to take in and this process truly does involve both of you. Plus, there will be procedures he will need to go through as well so he will need to hear about those.
That office truly is awesome. Very warm, welcoming and the staff is awesome. You will really get to know the nurses (you'll work with them more than the actual doctors most of the time) and they will get to know you.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and be honest with them. And if you can't afford something, let them know that as well. They will often work with you to help afford something - whether it be donated meds, reduced pricing, financing, grants, etc....
If you have any other questions or want more details, let me know. I'm an open book!
