I just wanna smack DH upside his head!!!

We had a QOTD a while back about our hubbies bad habits. So this morning, I was up early and DH got up and went to work. I went to use the bathroom and noticed the living room light, the dining room light and the light in our guest bedroom (where the ironing board is) were all left on. One night, I woke up to use the bathroom (yes it's a common theme for me lol) and he had left the freakin' living room light on all night along with his computer!!! His favorite light to leave on is the one by the washer and dryer. I was surprised it was actually off today but I don't think he went back there for anything.

UGH how hard is it to turn off the light that you turned on?? I swear I sound more like my dad everyday and that worries me LOL

Re: I just wanna smack DH upside his head!!!

  • Hahaha! DH does that all the time. He is really bad about our outside light. I think that my continual nagging is working though. Anytime we leave I stand at the door and wait until he turns off the things he turns on.

  • My hubby does the light thing, too!  Of course, this summer, when our electric bill doubled from A/C usage, he started getting better about turning off lights 'cause we can't afford to leave 'em on!
  • Since DH has been home now for nearly a month, my favorite line has been "Are you done with ________?" This has been quite effective at reminding him, but he's still leaving every light on.

This.  It must be in the genealogical coding.

It HAS to be! It's not like he doesn't hear me sigh and go behind him turning off every freakin light in this apartment. I sure hope Preston doesn't end up doing that or else they will both drive me crazy!
