As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Joe called me I think Wednesday in tears out of pure frustration. Oh H E Double Hockey Sticks No!
No one is going to make my husband hurt that way. So I called the ADA (thanks Gerrie) told them what was going on, they sent me some info to fill out so that the Legal Advocacy department could call me back. I then got the Concentra corporate # and told Joe I was going to call. Joe ended up calling the location here and talking to Office Manager.
Joe had went and sat at the VA office on Wednesday (his diabetes dr) and was told by the patient advocate that they would not give a release but would give him all his records. His records were awesome.
So he went back to Concentra and saw the dr again... this time he told him he needed to have his A1C count reread - well I had already been doing my research and they can't base anything on that count. So the Dr. then sent him on a wild goose chase.
Thats when he called me upset crying. God that hurt me so much.
I ended up calling the Dr. he sees for coughs and other sick stuff. Told them what was going on. We were needing a pre-employment physical, he was diabetic, the dr he saw said he could have seizures so on and so forth. The girl is totally understanding (her husband is a vet too and goes to the va).. told her we would pay for the physical ourselves we just needed to get him in.
Joe went in yesterday, the Dr gave him a clean bill... stated his blood sugar in controlled, Everything was good basically. So he brought it over to me I faxed it, he called the girl back and she was like... uhmmmm I don't know if this is what we need.... WTF Are you people Fing kidding me !!!! She was going to send it to Austin, and let Joe know.
He called me this morning crying. We got it !!! She called him, said everything was good to go, and they would see him on the 15th.
I have my notice ready to go !

thats so exciting!! congrats to him! and how frustrating. Nothing worse then seeing your husband so upset. :-(
