Weekend
How was your weekend?

We had a great weekend,
Friday I took Collin to meet my Uncle and Aunt and Cousins they haven't seen him yet so that was a great time!
Saturday I was out on my parents boat all day on the lake and it was such a great time we haven't done that in so long it was awesome. Collin hung out with my mom which she loved.
Sunday I just hung around the house and got some cleaning done. Then we went Grocery shopping.
But Kevin left for the whole week which suck!
We spent a lot of it cleannig for our open house on Sunday. Sunday morning we got up early (as early as I get up for work, 5:30ish) to drive to play a church service in a park. Loved the service, just being outside and enjoying the weather, etc. during the service. I had to leave early to go get our cat and took her to a park by the river, in her carrier.
No people showed up for our open house, not even nosy neighbors. I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated. It took a lot to get motivated to even clean for it (and I did things like scrub the kitchen floor on my hands and knees). Plus I got into it with the realtor late last week, who is also a good friend. Sorry, didn't mean to start venting.
But that was our weekend. We had beautiful weather!

It was beautiful here this weekend!
Friday night we just went out to dinner and saw a move.
Saturday we went on a 10 mile bike ride over the Brooklyn Bridge, ate some yummy pizza at Grimaldi's, and then rode back.
Sunday I had a spa day and "high tea" with 2 friends. Lexi got to have a play date with her 2 boyfriends (my dog is a total slut) at our place while Matt and I made dinner and watched the Emmys.
I can't wait for a 3 day weekend this week...we rented a house in the Hampton's with 2 other couples. I desperately need a little vacation!
I'm totally exhausted. We pulled an all-nighter on Friday night to get the kitchen completed...and some things fell short on getting done. I did the grout and backsplash - it looks sooooo great. We didn't go to bed until 530am, and woke up early around 10am to go the Foodie Fest (50 gourmet food trucks!) Ate a bunch of wonderful fusion foods, went home and showed my aunt and her girlfriend what we did to the kitchen. My mom and sister came over as well after the foodie fest, and hung around for dinner. I was dead-beat tired, but continued to work on the kitchen.
Yesterday, a little more relaxing and adding final touches. We had to exchange the table saw that broke on us, and pick up some items. I still can't cook in the kitchen because we need to seal the grout tomorrow. It can't get wet...but everything is finally getting there. Here's a sneak peak of our status.
We had a great weekend!
Friday was one of our neighbors birthdays so we did a BBQ for him. He had some family come over too. We did cake and ice cream too. After the family left us neighbor folk hung around for a while - not late cause we had to be up bright and early Saturday, but still had fun!
Saturday - morning we got up early to go tubing for a continued birthday celebration. We spent about 2 hours on the river. Came back, had lunch, then the boys went golfing. The girls were supposed to hit up the winery but we wanted naps first and by the time we got up from our really long naps it was too late to go to the winery to actually enjoy it before it closed. Another time. We spent Saturday night hanging out and having a low-key night. Boys on the video games, and girls outside for some girl chat!
Sunday - I did a lot of nothing for the morning. Gave the dog a hair cut and bath in the afternoon. He wouldn't sit still so he looks ridiculous, whatever. It was a fairly relaxing day which was nice.
It was really good, actually.
Had a great time with my college buddy on Friday night which meant I wasn't very productive on Saturday.
Got some stuff done though. Sunday we went to our company BBQ and had a really good time.
I'm really looking forward to this weekend too. My parents are coming in. Yay!

Friday-we went camping for our friend's birthday.
Saturday-We left the campsite in the morning when everyone else went rafting (we couldn't go because of my belly ;-( ) We stopped by REI to see if they had anything good on sale then hit costco. Came home and I took a nap in the afternoon. I felt blah most of the day. In the evening we went to dinner at our friend's house, which was a blast.
Sunday-We ran some errands around town, went to the IL's for a late lunch, and then came home and got some cleaning done. DH said he had to go into SF for work on Monday and Tuesday, which I swear he didn't tell me before so I had to scramble to get laundry done for him (he wanted me to pack him for the whole week, just in case he got stuck down there). DH got yelled at for not telling me sooner he was going to be gone, even though he swore he did. That's about it though, lol.
