Haha, I grew up in CA, went to college in Atlanta (the north implanted in the south) and now live in VA, but in a military town, where no one is from around here. I have picked up terms from all over the place. Plus I really more connect with Southern CA, which I would not call Yankee or Dixie, those are more northern US terms to me.
Fun though :P

This cracks me up because I have lived in Texas since I was 2. Both my parents moved to the US from the Caribbean so I wonder if this has anything to do with it lol.
