Hi ladies,
My DH and I just built a house and moved in a couple weeks ago. It's a lot bigger than our apartment so I may be dropping by for advice if that is ok with you all. I am finding it hard to find my feet in the house at the moment as it is still quite dusty inside and the gardens are not done (dragging dirt in). This is all bad for me as I am a bit of a clean freak BUT the past two weekends I have worn myself out before I even made it upstairs to clean
My first question is.. we put laminate wood flooring in the TV room, however, DH dragged, as opposed to lifted, a heavy fireplace tile and put a scrape across a couple of the wood slats. To your knowledge is there anything I can use to fill the scrape or do you have any suggestions.
FYI - it is too close to the fire to put a rug over it!
Also what are some good tips for washing laminate as I have been using the mop but know I should not really soak wood?
Re: Scratch in laminate wood
I truly did not know that about laminate wood. Thank you so much for the info or the scrape would be been the least of my worries lol.
I will try a hardware store for a filler, yes I am really in Ireland
