My mom is back in the hospital
Again. I can't imagine dealing with everything she has over the past few years. I can't remember when I last updated on her. I think it was May? Anyway, since then she's fallen and broken her hip (got a day pass to attend my sister's wedding in mid June). She's on full time hemo-dialysis and ended up with an infection in her muscle around her hip fracture. She has surgery yesterday and is now on daily dialysis and antibiotics. If it doesn't clear up, they are talking about amputating her leg at the hip! She is really scared, moreso than I have ever seen her. I feel bad for my dad, he's so stressed out.

Seeing your parents suffer is a no fun thing. Hope things start getting better for her!

Mm dealt pretty well with her toe apmutations, but this would be entirely different than that. She's been fighting to regain some of her independance, to have such a set back would be very hard for her. I hope your dad is doing ok. It's hard to see our parents go through stuff like this. When did we become the caregivers?!
