Happy belated birthday, to me!
LOL, I know I'm not around very much any more (I still lurk), but I want my cake! So, to revive my old April '10 Knotties tradition of being the birthday cake lady, I'm bringing the party to you! And many thanks to the Nesties who gave me shouts out on FB!!! Julie, you're right, I miss you guys too and should post more often, I know!
Yesterday was a great day - went to the movies (saw "Inception" - awesome!) and had dinner with friends. I got roses from my dad, DH's family gave me a charm for the bracelet DH gave me as a wedding gift --- a blue jay (I'll have to post a pic soon)!!! And then when we got home from dinner, DH surprised me with an LG Dare --- the one I'd loved broke a few months ago and he got me a replacement - so psyched)!
And over the weekend I started my new blog in earnest. It's primarily about trying to make a baby (well, no, I don't mean it's porn or anything LOL, just the trials and tribulations of trying to conceive). Link is in my siggy if you want to take a look.
So not a bad day/weekend for someone who's just turned *cough* forty *cough* LOL
Since I share my bday with Michael Jackson, I thought the above was a fitting cake! This is it! The big day I'd been dreading for a while has come and gone, and I survived, haha!
Anyway, just wanted to share the fun with my Nesties. I do miss you guys.

Heh, sounds good Cindy! And thanks! I had some brownie a la mode at dinner last night and was so stuffed after... they put just one candle on it, which I was glad for, otherwise they would have needed to have the fire department on hand!

Awww, thanks Mel, I can use all the positive BFP vibes I can get! LOL, not to be TMI or anything, but my "fertile time" is coming up again soon (Labor Day weekend), and DH and I will be at MIL's house... oh geez!
I'll do my best to be better about posting... the move and work have made my summer nuts (but in a good way)! I hope your summer has been "good busy" too!
