My WeatherBug says that it's 88.6 degrees outside right now, but I'm stuck at work all weekend, so I wouldn't really know. I do know that the nights have been getting cooler and that I have fall on the brain.
Little-known fact about me: I LOVE fall decorations. Leaf wreaths, corn stalks, smiley scarecrows, fake harvest crap-- I love it all. I would buy every cheapo fall decoration at Rite Aid if I let myself. I held myself to one wreath for the door because we don't need to have all of that junk cluttering up our already-cluttered house, so now I pass the wreath every day and can't wait to hang it up after Labor Day. ![]()
Fall would be more fun if I weren't stuck at work, frantic, for the whole two months of September and October, but it's still pretty awesome.
Favorite things about fall. Go.

I don't know if you ladies have ever hear the phrase "Texas doesn't have seasons", but it's kinda sorta true.

I'm looking forward to it not being hot in our bedroom all the time. And lower electric bill due to no AC. We usually don't turn on the heat until November.
More taco soup? It's so much better in the winter. More snuggles with my hubby cuz it isn't too hot!
Taco soup?! sounds like something my HH would love. Will you share the recipe?
so why are they called potato shoes?
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
