I have counted at least 8 stinging bastards in my house today.

Stupid freaking yellow jackets. I have no idea how the hell they're getting inside other than there's apparently a hole under the eave by the back door... once they get in there, though, I am lost as to their entry point into my house.

I killed 4 of them yesterday, at least 8 (and the day is still young) of them today, and who knows how many of those nasty things over the past few weeks.

I have had it. Time to get brave, climb up the roof that covers the cellar, and spray those little fvvvvckers. And then close the hole with some expanding foam spray.

I can't wait to move out of this house. First mega fuzzy bees last year, then mice and yellow jackets this year. Angry

Re: I have counted at least 8 stinging bastards in my house today.

  • won't your landlord take care of the bees?
  • Yikes!  I really think your LL should pay for a pest control company to come out and not only take care of these guys, but check around for other potential points of entry / areas of concern.

You've had more than enough pests!! :(

Causes that are important to me: Planned Pethood Graham's Foundation NOCC
  • I can't remember the name of the place off the top of my head but there was a website that I found last year that would come and get the bee's for free...like a grad student thingy.  When we called him our bee issue we had weren't the ones he was looking for but gave us a reduced rate for a company that ended up coming out.

I'm sorry cause I don't remember their name but they had a guarantee and we used it when those suckers came back two weeks later!!  I think it was $70 for the treatment.
