What are you all up to?
I was hoping to go out to S.F. for a visit but I waited too long to get tickets and can't even use my miles now--boo! So maybe we'll just have a BBQ here with my family instead.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Labor Day weekend plans?
Dh has been gone and gets back Saturday, so he won't be up for doing much that day with the time change adjustment (6 hours). But Sunday is the Bluegrass Festival and I am excited about that.
We're flying to Hawaii Saturday morning, assuming Hurricane Earl doesn't mess up our plans!
The plan is to go to Kauai first then over to the Big Island, splitting the days evenly. We're really excited, but I'm nervous about flying and the potential hurricane.
Good luck with your flight. I'm terrified of flying so anything but sunny skies makes me so nervous. Chug a few glasses of wine before you board and you'll be all set!
The flight's at 6:25am, so alcohol isn't really an option. Usually I'm too naueous from being up so early, plus being nervous, to be able to eat or drink anything.
I've been debating on whether or not to call my doctor to get pills.
I can't believe your trip is almost here!!! You guys are going to have so much fun!
We don't have plans which is fab after the busy summer we had. DH is working Friday night so I might see some friends. I think we'll just spend as much time outside as possible if the weather is good the rest of the weekend.
You totally should. That is a long flight to be nervous about. My husband also gets nervous before we fly anywhere, and always gets an upset set stomach.
Aww the poor sweetie! I hope he has a speedy recovery. FWIW, if there isn't a tech there all night, I'd ask to take him home. You can keep an eye on him and call the vet if he starts bleeding or his gums go pale. You just sleep near him, check on him every 30-60 minutes and see how he does.
I won't leave mine overnight because there isn't anyone there all night. It depends on the office though.
