What are you looking at?
I actually have to set a big classroom goal this year as part of my certification. In SC, you go through induction your first year, then second year is your evaluation year (I passed!!), and third year you start on what's called Goals-Based Evaluation, where you have to set a goal each year and get a certain number of recertification points every 5 years.
I haven't had the meeting to set my goal yet, but I'm thinking about something with assessments and using different types to evaluate learning (such as using Activotes with the promethean board). A personal classroom goal for me is to be more consistent. We're two weeks in and so far it's gone well.
Out of the classroom, I'm trying to cut back on sweets and improve my time on running races, especially for my 1/2 marathon in October.

1. make it through my recertification program with as little stress as possible
2. cook more crockpot meals so our evenings are easier and we can spend more time with DS
3. take a walk with DS after school every day
Keep my desk more organized... (because oh girl!!! It looks like a bomb struck sometimes!) I'm worse than my kids. : )
Survive this year with a difficult administrator.
Go to the gym more.
LOL. When I leave for the day, there's not one thing on my desk. Not even the stapler or tape dispenser. Some other teachers come into my room and look really confused. They always ask where all my "stuff" is.
More organzied (files, assignment, desk, class materials).
Use and learn about our new Smartboards.
Work less than 60 hours a week
Cleaner home, less stress.
1. Keep my files updated
2. Maintain exemplary classroom discipline
3. Eat better/less, exercise more

My goal is to successfully mainstream as many of my kids as possible. I also want my students to know that although they have special needs, college is still a possibility.
