I have NO idea what to get DH for his birthday on Wednesday.
I am really wanting to get something that we will eventually have/want to buy for our house. I was thinking patio set or grill, but I want a good deal and I haven't found any great deals on them yet.

His bday is Wednesday already!
Re: I have NO idea what to get DH for his birthday on Wednesday.
DH's is tomorrow...um yeah, I got him squat. I got him a PS3 game, but he was with me so I got nothing else for him to open. I did order him and OSU cake for this weekend.
I had him trace his hand and had Alex finger-paint his hand and put it "inside" DH's on the paper. I'll put "Daddy and I, Hand in Hand" on it and frame it.
He is so hard to buy for.
Sounds like my DH. Totally impossible to buy for. He doesn't collect anything (unless you count tools) and he doesn't play video games. Only thing I ever buy him for christmas/bdays are tools and thats just him giving me a list of what he wants. So boring. lol.
The Walmart ad actually had a grill in it onsale for $160 so I am going to run out there at some point and am really hoping our local one has it! Otherwise he will be just getting a Lowes giftcard and a updated pic and frame of the girls.
Sounds like my DH too! Sometimes it even means more when you get creative. I think one year I made coupons for him for some things that he liked to do. He could turn them in whenever he wanted. I think that might've been for V-day or our anniversary or something though. I know it sounds kinda cheesey.
The thing I hate worse though is buying him something cheesey and then him turning around and getting me something really romantic or that I really wanted. Just when I think he's not being obervant or isn't listening! - Darn him!!! Like for our anniversary a month or so ago- I took him out to eat and spent maybe $60 on the meal. He turns around and buys me a nice Citizen watch that I absolutely love! And I know he spent way more than me. He noticed that I looked at watches alot and just couldn't find one I liked that wasn't too expensive. Of course now I feel bad because then he got laid off like 2-weeks later.
We got our patio set at home depot. It's pretty reasonable for 150 it was for the table and chairs. It never goes on sale because it's the "lower end". But we love it. The chairs are SO comfy!
I saw Menards was having a sale on their patio stuff (at least in their ad's)
Timot is easy to buy for so I'd get him a gift cert to an office supply store, fossil or a massage.
I try to do stuff for him that he loves but wouldn't do all the time or for himself. He loves specality beers so as a gift for I think doing well in May we went out to Ashleys a micro brew in Ann Arbor. Maybe a restaurant that he likes but maybe you don't??
We went to Indy to visit friends as a joint my birthday/he finished summer school.
Think about how he lies to spend his time. Maybe it's a here's a coupon for an entire Sunday uninterrupted by me and the kids to do whatever you want.
I wish I had an idea for you, but I do sympathize My H is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for, always. Every birthday and holiday I have to wrack my brain to figure something out and I never come up with anything super creative. I got him a nice watch for his birthday in March and he ended up taking it back and didn't even tell me, he just all of a sudden was wearing a watch but it wasn't the one I bought for him...I finally had to ask him about it and he said, "Oh, I took that one back and got a different one..." Grrr.
He also doesn't play video games or collect anything.
One year I did do good when I bought him an iPod Touch for Christmas. I had heard him say "That's cool" when we saw it in the store, so I bought it when Best Buy had a "gift card with purchase" offer on it. He LOVES it, uses it all the time. Now he wants an iPad. As reluctant as I am to buy it, I really have no idea what else to buy him, so I'm pretty sure it'll be the iPad for Christmas this year.
