Good weekend for a garage sale??
Since it's a holiday weekend do you think it's a good or bad idea to have a garage sale? I was planning on having one within the next couple weeks anyway but since I am currently job-less I thought sooner might be better, even if I only make a little money from it.

This weekend would be great. If you could get your stuff together, a Thursday, Friday Saturday sale would be great. Even Fri-Sun.
And a standard key is first of the month is always better.

I really wanted to do one this weekend but I just haven't had the time to get my crap together. I might shoot for next weekend though... we'll see.
If you do one this weekend, and I do end up doing one next weekend, you'd definitely be welcome to bring your leftovers over to my place to try to sell and hang out, hehe.
I can only ever do Sat/Sun sales though. Can't really get time off of work for a garage sale.
If you could get your stuff together in time, you could do a "sneak peak" sale Thursday or Friday late afternoon/early evening. List it on craigslist, and trust me, you will get people coming. I saw a "sneak peak" for one neighborhood garage sale on a Wednesday night, and I went. Turns out one person posted it and did not tell the rest of the neighbors. However, no one minded too much because there were plenty of people coming through. Good luck!!
