OK ladies, I need some serious advice. Here's my problem: I quit the bank job, as planned, to take the real estate job. Yay! However, because I was working to try to save up some money, I haven't been able to take the exam yet. EEP! I started with them today and will not be doing anything in the beginning that will require my license, but I don't want to tell them I don't have it yet in fear of them sending me packing. To make matters worse, they assumed I already got it and I didn't correct them, I just stalled by saying I would get them my papaerwork as soon as I had it (which is true, but not for the reasons they must be thinking). WWYD? Do I just explain it to them and hope they are patient and understanding? It could be 3 weeks or more until I take it and the docs come back from the state. AHHHHHH!
Conversely, I guess the worst that happens is I tell them what's up, they don't hire me, and I find another firm to work for. Hmmmm...
Re: HELP!!!
Just wanted to update you all and let you know that I spoke with him and everything is fine! He said it's not the end of the world since we probably won't be terribly busy in the beginning anyway, and he still wants to do the advertising, take a team photo, etc starting next week. I am sooooo relieved!
On a crummy note, in the craziness of all this, I somehow forgot that today would be my dad's birthday... until I saw my sister's very sad FB status. I suck and now I'm sad too.
