Anyone been to a ghost town?
Has anyone been to a ghost town where they do Old Western reenactments? My little sister and I were talking about taking a long weekend in November / December and visiting an old ghost town out west. Does anyone have any suggestions??
TIA
Re: Anyone been to a ghost town?
I think there is one out near Sedona, AZ. It might be Jerome actually. But I'm not sure. I remember our hot air balloon pilot talking about it while we were out that way in April.
I don't really remember the exact convo b/c I was only half listening. I was too busy freaking out at how high the balloon was going! LOL

I haven't but I have always wanted to!
It looks like this website has a lot of info & tons listed.
I've been here. Pretty cool.
It's not a ghost town, but Deadwood, SD is a blast! They do reenactments all day and it's a beautiful place.
ETA: I just saw you're planning on going in Nov./Dec. so I'm thinking SD is out...lol
I haven't been, but one of my BFs lives in AZ. We were planning a trip there similar to yours a while back and in addition to Jerome, she also suggested Bisbee, AZ.
The link to Bisbee (there's all kinds of eerie outings listed): click here.
She said that her sister stayed here & loved it when she was there too. I think that I've seen Shady Dell on the Travel Channel before.
Sounds like a blast!
