Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I was minding my own business....
Last night I was lying in bed reading, minding my own business, when all of a sudden I see something moving out of the corner of my eye. It was a HUGE spider walking lazily along the edge of the bedspread - right next to my face! I am not usually squeamish about bugs or spiders, but they aren't normally 3 inches from my face when I see them! I yelled to HH to come in and kill it! What really gets me is that we have 3 cats...yes, 3 of them! I don't understand why in the world we have spiders in the house getting that close to me when we have THREE cats!!

Gross!!! Spiders freak me out!!! We've got the 4 cats and of course Brody, so anything that gets in the house is pretty much guaranteed a quick death. Living out in the country, we get lots of random critters... Tons of beetles, moths, and other creepy crawlies. Since we've been in this house, I've found a dead mouse in the middle of the kitchen floor that the cats had "played with" and a dead lizard in the office. Our cats are fierce hunters!!! haha
Oh dear! On my jog this morning I ran through like three spider webs. I was just thinking OH CRAP THERE BETTER NOT BE SPIDERS ON ME!!!! I tried not to focus on it.
