Holy crap, it's September
Where did the summer go? Of course, given how hot it is outside it certainly doesn't feel like Fall yet.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Holy crap, it's September
Summer flew by.
Technically the first day of Autumn is the 23rd. But I kind of treat Labor Day as the last day of summer. When I was in (elementary, middle, and high) school we always started after labor day so fall to me started with school. Of course now a lot of schools go back this week.
I know, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!
MrsC, I agree. I have slowly adjusted to realizing that September is still summery enough to spend a weekend at the beach if the weather is good. And now it is unusual for school to start after Labor day. Makes me feel like an old lady. "In my day, school never started until after Labor day...."
Yeah, I know it's technically not Fall yet but in my head I always think of September as a Fall month, you know? I saw the school bus picking kids up today so that added to the end-of-summer feel.
I actually really like Fall weather so I'm looking forward to it, it's just the sense of time flying by that's disconcerting. Yeah, I'm old.
I love September. It's my birthday month and I'm visiting my parents this month and apparently it is the last month I'm going to feel great in about, oh, 15 years.
It's even cooler HERE, which is really something.
You're not old!
