Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. Health&Fitness Wednesday

CHECK-IN!!! How are you ladies doing with your goals of being healthier?

I've been really sticking to my WW points since this past Sunday. I had a realization that i dont want to be this unhealthy for the rest of my life, and i want to be comfortable in my skin.

So im doing well with eating and stuff and trying to get back on track with exercising. I think Zig and I are going to try to go to the park after work today and take a nice long walk :)

  • I'm still in the process of setting up my classroom this week, which requires a lot of heavy lifting, walking, etc. My goal is to make it to the gym 4 times this week. So far I made it on Monday and hope to today, Friday, and Saturday. I am hoping that I get into gear next week so that I can create a routine of going to the gym after work.

    Now...eating..I have been doing okay on portions, but still not eating as well as I would like to....sigh.

  • I pretty much haven't done anything toward my goals! I have been sticking with my Couch to 5k runs which I'm super proud of myself for doing (Friday is my first 20 minutes run - eek!!!) but I haven't done anything other than that. I think I'm going to check out a new gym today after work - this one offers classes which would probably motivate me a lot more to get my butt moving.

    Meal-wise I haven't been eating too horribly, but it's the snacks that are killing me. The fun size candy bars, cookies, chips....bah! I gotta cut that crap out!

  • I need to set some goals. At this time, I don't have any and it's very obviously being reflected in the way I have been eating. I feel like a big blob since the wedding. I say this as I'm sitting here with my venti latte. Ugh!
  • I've been to the gym twice this past week.  My goal is to get there at least three times a week.  I was going to go yesterday but had a migraine:(
