Thank you so much for thinking of me. I hope it gets easier soon. Right now I'm still in that stage where I expect him to be in front of the door trying to escape when I get home and stepping over the bottom step when I get up every morning because that's where he always slept.

I know what you mean. I'm still there and it's been a long time. It does get easier, but I'm a "pets are members of the family" person, so I completely understand.
