I was cast!
So that stupid move I made randomly auditioning for a musical? I was cast as Mayzie in Seussical! YAY!!!! This is my first show in 7 years - I can't believe I haven't done theatre since before DH and I met in 2004, but I realized my last show was Grease in 2003.
Mayzie is the second largest female role in the show. The director is also playing the female lead, but hey - I got a lead, and negotiated that I don't have to attend every rehearsal. Yay!
