This time last year, we were all pretty stressed out and most of us...freaked out....and our weddings were one month away?!?!?!!? Time just FLEW by. At least I think so.

I got an email from my wedding photography company that our anniversary was right around the corner, why not make him the perfect gift???? I was like WTF! Already a year! Crazy.... Big Smile

I've been lurking on the October 2010 board....and all of their posts are EXACTLY like ours were. Dress fittings, seating charts, in laws....I just laugh.

I know! Everyone told me our engagement was going to fly... it was only four months so it DID... but it was NOTHING compared to the way this year has flown. Amazing. What a beautiful year.

My friend is getting married October 15th and she is doing all of the same things I did...shes on the Oct 2010 board and they have had all the same siggy challenges and stuff...crazy to think that was us a year ago!

I don't know. For me it's almost deja vu all over again. Not the planning, but the same vibe. Last year I felt 'unsettled' b/c I was about to start a new job and get married. This year we're *this* close to having a house after 2 years of looking. I just want to get to a place where I can sit quietly...

All in all, despite the stress, it's been a damn good year. But yeah, I reflect of what it was like last year.

I know, it's gone by so fast! Just tonight, we were asked how long we'd been married and DH said "8 months... wait... 11 months?" We looked at each other and had to do the mental math! It's been 11 months!

I can't believe it's almost been a year!! A friend of ours is getting married a week before our anniversary and she is going nuts with all those last minute details right now. This year for us is definitely much more calm and relaxing!

I'm glad the only real anxiety I had was if I was going to fit into my dress. Since we had a not very big or very formal day it was pretty easy planning. But I would not wat to be doing it again this year!

I cannot believe it's been almost a year, the time has absolutely flown by!

I loved the excitement and anticipation leading up to the wedding this time last year (really), but I am so excited to just have a relaxing fall this year! I do admit to looking back at my Google calendar from last year and I'm in disbelief at all the meetings, appointments, notes, and "stuff" to do. My September/October 2010 calendar is blissfully empty Smile
