As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My parents are sick - T&P please!
My mom has had shingles for the past couple of weeks. She is miserable and the medication they've had her on has been making her moody and depressed. She'll cry, can't sleep, is in pain. . .just feels awful. The doctor told her to keep taking them and these are just side effects, but I feel bad for her. She won't let me come see her because I haven't had chicken pox and is so afraid that I'll catch it.
My dad went to the urologist yesterday. His bladder is all messed up, so the doctors are considering having him use a catheter all the time. They are also keeping an eye on his prostate because he's having issues as well and are doing tests for cancer.
Just feel helpless because there's nothing I can do to make them better. I would appreciate good thoughts and prayers if you guys can spare them.
