I really need to stop...

Offering to work overtime. I was supposed to be off yesterday but ended up working 12:30-7:15. I only intended to stay til 5:30 or so but it got busy so I ended up being there til after 7. I am exhaused today and my next day off isn't til next Tuesday. Luckily I only have one long shift left since we close at 2 on weekends and we are closing early on labor day. the 10 hours tomorrow is going to suuuck though.

Re: I really need to stop...

  • You really do need to stop...or at least slow down a little....with your LO coming soon you should start banking on some sleep...haha

  • Eh... I don't sleep too well these days (it's 4am right now and I am nesting and eating a soft pretzel) so I wouldn't be getting much more of that anyway. I just felt bad this week cause it was going to be just 2 people all day on the first of the month which also happened to be a walmart payday, both of which are usually quite busy for us. I think next week I only work 35 hours so it will be a little better.

  • Yes you do!!  Though I'm sure the extra $$ is nice, I bet you're soooo exhausted!!   Hopefully they don't even ask you next week and you just get to work your nice 35 hours. :)
