I went for the consultation for the laser hair removal.  I went to medsleekspa in the Burlington Mall.  I don't know how much for underarms, but for a bikini it is $1375.  That is for six sessions and a lifetime warranty of touch ups.  I think I am going to do it so I'll let you know how it goes if/when it happens.

Re: ***BostonBaker***

  • Thanks for the info!  Lifetime warranty sounds pretty good to me.  That price doesn't seem too bad either.  Assuming I would otherwise be shaving my underarms for the next 50 years, that is $27.50/year to avoid it.  I may have to consider this more seriously!

    What was the consultation like?

  • I filled out some paperwork asking some general medical questions, and then sat down with a consultant.  She explained the procedure, and then answered my questions.  She gave me pricing, and was sort of trying to talk me into getting more done.  She kept saying they were running a special buy one get one 1/2 off.  I just told her spending this kind of cash was going to be a tough sell with my husband.  It is kind of strange though...like getting a medical spa procedure done in the mall.  Ha ha ha.  I don't know...it seems a little odd, but I know this is mainstream now.
