Help me out

Invited my parents over for dinner tomorrow night. I'm just going to do a london broil on the grill.  What should I do as a side?  I'm making a fresh garden salad as well.

  • Robyn's Crock Pot Herb Roasted Potatoes
    recipezaar

    6 medium potatoes
    1/4 cup water
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon instant minced onion

    1 teaspoon italian seasoning
    1 teaspoon dried parsley

Chop potatoes into half moons (slice potato in half longways, then into pieces). Place into crock pot. Add water and sprinkle with all the herbs and seasoning. Stir to distribute the herbs. Add butter in separate pieces on top of the potatoes.
Cover and cook on low for 5 hours or until tender.

  • Or a pasta salad is always good! THis is what people ask me to bring when I go to a cookout or a girlscout function!!

    Pamila?s Pasta Salad

1 Box  Tri Colored Bowtie Pasta

    1 Green  Pepper

    1 Red Pepper

    1 Jar Marinated artichokes

    1/2 Jar Sliced green olives

    1 cucumber

    1 tbls minced garlic

    1 Vegetable Dip Mix

    1 tsp Seasoning salt

    1 ? cups mayo

Cook drain and cool Pasta. Put in a big bowl for easy mixing. I like to mix the vegetable dip mix into the mayo in a little bowl so it starts to activate while you are doing all the prep. Clean & dice red & green peppers, peel cucumber and dice as well add all 3 to the pasta. Drain the marinated artichoke juice into the pasta then dice up the artichoke and put them in the pasta add the other ingredients as well as the mayo. Stir until blended nicely place a cover on it and let chill for atleast an hour. I like making it the night before.
