It's Friday!!!!!! What's everyone's plans for the holiday weekend?
I am at work and there's hardly anyone here. So trying to find alternative ways to occupy my time (procrastinating on the assignment that needs to get done).

Re: TGIF!!!
whew, this week took FOREVER!
tonight: begin painting the house.
saturday: i'll be at my baby sister's bridal shower & bach party all day/night. DH picked up a shift at his second job so he'll work all day.
sunday: more painting. wandering over to the neighborhood block party to introduce ourselves since we're so new. back to painting.
monday: painting. notice a trend?
"whew, this week took FOREVER!"
Ha ha, I totally agree! It's bad that yesterday I thought it was Wednesday. I need to go back on vacation, lol.
Just did the painting thing a couple weeks ago. Just painted the kitchen, dining room and hallway at one, and it took about a week to do. Was sooooo glad that it's done. You'll feel the same way at the end and get to enjoy the new house.
Tonight: hopefully go to the county fair. It's all weekend and ends on Monday.
Tomorrow: go to Milwaukee for an arcade auction and hopefully go to the fair again at night.
Sunday: it's DH's birthday so I hope to surprise him with dinner and cake when he gets home from work. And celebrate the rest of the evening at the fair. This also is our anniversary of when we meet. So it'll be a special night I hope.
Monday: better get caught up with homework and possibly clean the house. I remember last year on Labor day I was making our centerpieces for the wedding. Wow, how time flies.
My only officially plan is going over to ILs on Sunday for a bbq. Right now I am currently cleaning and doing school work...fun. Tonight we will probably watch a movie and maybe go out to eat or order in. We were invited to a wine festival for tomorrow but I don't know if we are going to go it is kinda far. Other than that who knows, whatever comes up. I don't have class again until Wednesday which is nice but I need to keep on top of the assignments.
Jrsy- Have fun painting! I painted one small room at my brothers house once and it was such a pain. I don't think that I have the patience for it. But since its your new house Im sure that it is exciting!
Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend
Oh, is it Friday already?
Tonight: work, training a new girl (I'm sure I'll have stories later about this).
Tomorrow: work
Sunday: work
Monday: finally a day off, Labor Day g2g with my family... I'm making jello poke cake for dessert!
Follow my book blog: Panda Reads
Follow me on Goodreads: my read shelf:
Today: school, assistantship work, lunch with an ATL nestie, more assistantship work, going home and catching up on DVR while designing myself some business cards and letterhead
Tomorrow: UGA game day baby! GO DAWGS
My parents are coming from MD (round about trip while moving my sis to SCAD) so we'll be watching the game and tailgating with them!
Sunday: Ummm, what does anyone do after gameday? Nurse a hangover, lay around in my PJ's and probably do some reading for school that night.
Monday: lots and lots of school work.
Yay weekend!
Today, I'm making various piles of things to toss and things to donate, general organizing. Sean is working till 11, so I have lots of time to go through things and be ruthless
Tomorrow: Same, except probably more actual cleaning than organizing.
Sunday we're heading to Philly to visit Sean's sister, stay at a friend's house and BBQ and hang out. Monday we're just coming home and hopefully vegging.
my blog
That sounds like the most perfect day, ever.
Oh man, this week has been EXHAUSTING!
Last night, we went to dinner with my parents and brother at this amazing all you can eat sushi place.
Today, I have my friends bridal shower, then I'll probably clean, do laundry, and hopefully relax a little bit.
Sunday, we might get together with some friends of ours, and I'll do laundry because I probably wont get to it today.
Monday, lots of organizing and planning for school. Oh, and I have to find a way to represent planes and lines in 3D space for my students.
Use Google SketchUp! It's a free software program designed for modeling 3D space, and you can draw really simple rectangles and then move them into the air (you can also choose if you want to have the background look like ground and sky or just gray). There are really great tutorials online that can show you everything you need to know. I guess this only works if you have a projector hooked up to a computer though...
Friday: Last night we went to Six Flags because his company gave him free tickets. It was lots of fun but we didn't stay long because it was really cold and it started to rain.
Saturday: Being lazy and then going to a friend's wedding tonight. I actually met her from the Knot when I was planning my wedding and we became good friends. I'm really looking forward to it.
Sunday: Going sailing with friends. Should be fun, so long as I don't get terribly sea sick!
Monday: DH and I are going on a seguay tour by the lake. We purchased groupons for this ages ago and are finally getting around to using them. Hopefully by the end of the day I'll find out whether or not I have a job! I'm sooooooo nervous!
