Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Oven is self cleaning but stinking up the house
UGH! Should not have done this until I could open the windows in the house. Entirely too hot to open windows now. My house stinks.

Oh I hate that yucky burning smell. This is one task I always put on the bottom of the list.
Self cleaning the oven last night was an accident. My three year old turned it on. I have one of those ovens that has touch buttons on the very front and that button is one of the first ones. After we realized it was cleaning we just thought we would let it go, but oh my gosh, the fumes!!! We eventually shut it off after 3 hours. The fumes were so bad we let my daughter sleep in our bed with us because our room is in the very back of the house. Never again will I self clean the oven in the summer!!!
