Nopity nopity no.....
Didn't get the job. Came down to me and one other girl, and the other girl edged me because of experience. Which drives me crazy because my last job rejection was because I had too much so I was too expensive. I mean, seriously?! But the message she left me was the best decline message probably in the history of the world and made me feel not even really that sad. She had nothing but wonderful things to say and I know that was a kickass interview so I've come out of this feeling more confident about my skills and abilities as a teacher, but frustrated that I still can't find a job.
And what's worse is that I had an interview scheduled for yesterday but because she called me so last minute about it, I couldn't find a sub at work and had to cancel the interview. And it was another job I really wanted. Sucks. Matt and I are good loyal people with strong values and are hard dedicated motivated workers. When's our big break gonna get here?

I totally feel you. I swear sometimes the teaching market is so unfair. I interviewed this summer for a job. It got down bw 2 of us. I did okay in the interview, but did an awesome lesson. Also I had experience as well had already taught at the sister school, yet they gave it to a guy that was engaged to a girl at the school. Trying to get a teaching job is so frustrating.
After all I've been through job-wise in the last 3-4 years, I totally understand and feel your pain. I'm hoping that my time has finally come with this new job and you'll be not far behind!
