wedding picture survey
DH and I are slowly working through our 2 boxes full of proofs from the photographer. We have about 200 more pictures to look at. This got me thinking?
1) Are you happy with your pictures?
2) Are there any pictures that you wanted that you did not get?
3) Did any pictures surprise you?

1) Are you happy with your pictures? Overall yes. We really really like our pictures
2) Are there any pictures that you wanted that you did not get? There aren't that many pictures of DH and I or that many pics of the whole wedding party. We were rushed so we ended up not having as much time for pics as we hoped.
3) Did any pictures surprise you? There were lots of great candids which we love. As well as awesome 'prop' pics - flowers, shoes, necklaces, etc.

Our photographer and very good friend actually made a suprise apperance the night before the wedding. She's at AIT in Arizona and when she put in for leave she told me she didn't get it, well she couldn't fly directly to us, but her husband picked her up a nearby airport in VA and drove up to PA. I've never been so suprised in my life. It was amazing. Anyways, at the moment she doesn't have any of her software, but the pictures on FB that she got me are unedited and beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest! Now I did have a back up photographer, but she's new to weddings and didn't get too many shots. She did get some though..like the one in my siggy. It was a good experience for her and it all worked out in the end.
1) Are you happy with your pictures? Overall, yes! We have lots of great photos that I love. I wish we had more great candids, but I'm still happy with what we have.
2) Are there any pictures that you wanted that you did not get? I wish we would have gotten more photos of just DH and me, but we just didn't have enough time. I am happy with the ones we have, just wish we had more. I also wish we had more outdoor photos. Pair being strapped for time with it being like 110 plus ridiculously humid and none of us wanted to be outside for very long.
3) Did any pictures surprise you? Not really. As I said in answer #1, we didn't get as many candids as I would have liked, so I felt like I knew all the photos we would be getting. I do adore a photo that she took of my shoes, the newspaper, and my bracelet. I didn't know about that one I guess.
1) Are you happy with your pictures? yes and no - i love the quality and all the shots he took.. very professional.. i wish there was more. i dont know 500 doesnt seem to be enough for me
2) Are there any pictures that you wanted that you did not get? yes, a couple that was taken during our live montage. im gonna ask when i go get my album done
3) Did any pictures surprise you? yes! the venue pictures! the room and lighting were so beautiful

1) Are you happy with your pictures? Overall, yes. They are taken by a professional. They look good. But I feel that my photographer didn't bring his all. There aren't as many amazing ones as he's put up for other weddings.
2) Are there any pictures that you wanted that you did not get? A lot. We lost an hour and a half of formals due to rain and hail. Most notably, creative shots of the whole wedding party. Shots with different combinations of Cody's family. More shots of me and him.
3) Did any pictures surprise you? Just a few that I didn't know the photographer took. Some really neat ones that he hadn't put on the online gallery. But nothing major.

Overall, yes...but I guess I was hoping for some more personalized ones.
2) Are there any pictures that you wanted that you did not get?
Yep. I specifically mentioned that I wanted some special ones of just my husband and my youngest son. Didn't get that. They aslo got a pic of me and Matt with my mom, one with us and my brother, but not one with my whole family together. But htey got one with us and Matt's entire family. My mo was not happy about that.
3) Did any pictures surprise you?
A cool 3 picture scene of my youngest so doing "the worm" at the reception. Those were pretty cool!
