I was limited to BRU due to GC's so when I went there yesterday they really didnt have anything that I was looking at online...
I decided to get a jogging stroller and they only had 3 models.....2 jeeps and 1 baby trend (Expedition)
One jeep was cheesy looking and big. Anther was awesome but too big.
The Baby trend expedition was 129 and well worth it. I played all through the store with it. While its a tad on the bigger side (i suppose all joggers are) and its not as lightweight as my Aria, nor does it collapse with one hand, the ease of navigation while using it was very impressive. The storage underneath is still a bit lacking, but its much greater than my Peg perego aria.
I tested it out when I got home, and I never in a million yrs actually thought I'd jog with it, but I did!!!! I went super far with it too! I was out for a good hour and half!!!!
The only complaint, (sort of) is the lock to make the front wheel stay straight or swivel...the lock tends to easily come undone...It may just need to be broken in though....we'll see.
I also had the 20 off coupon so w/tax it came to 116. I found it very inexpensive and so far, LOVE IT!!! I think I plan to use it 99 percent of the time now......
Just wanted to post about it since there were some additional inquiries on strollers along w/myself!
Re: Update on my quest for a stroller....
Mrs.MJP: Since I had nothing too compare when I was pregnant and shopping, the BRU kid sold me on the Aria bc of the one hand collapsability....Then I had it and thought, "wow, this is stupid, no big deal, how many times am I gonna need to do it this way"
But DD was also always in the infant seat, so I could put her on the ground.
Then yesterday, after my walk, I had to take DD out of stroller, and since I needed both hands to collapse and store Jogger in my car, I realized, "wow, the one hand collapsability is great" LOL
So this just proves in stroller land, along with the regular world, we ALWAYS WANT WHAT WE DONT HAVE!!! LOL
