Job Advice Needed

So I had my interview 3 weeks ago. I sent a thank you note to all 3 ppl I sat with. Should I call the clearing house & ask about the status of the position or wait a little longer.

When I met with the hiring manager she stated that they were doing interviews that week & one more the week after & were hoping to make decision within 2 weeks.

TIA!

Re: Job Advice Needed

  • It wouldn't hurt to give a follow-up call.  It will let them know you are still interested and also refresh their minds about you and maybe bring your resume up to the top of the pile...

    Good luck!

  • Definitely call.  It will show you are interested.
  • I would definately make a follow-up call. It shows you are still very interested in the position. Good luck!
  • Thanks. Should I call the hiring manager or the clearing house (recruting firm that we use)?

  • I would say both.  I don't like to rely on firms for info, but if you found the position from them you should probably check with them first and still call your contact in the company that you interviewed with.
  • I would call the hiring manager. ?I just did this recently and I was glad I did b/c I was able to show I was still interested and found out that they were still in the process. ? GL!
