What an ugly day...
yuck. DD is learning to use the potty so we have stayed inside all day. Good thing too. It's cold, dark and rainy. DH is snoring on the couch right now, DD is napping away the afternoon (it's hard work going pee pee on the potty and partying about it everytime). WHat is everyone else up to today?

Umm Potty Training tips. Get big kid underwear, our potty plays music when she pees, she likes that, stool for in front of toilet so they can get up on their own and, make sure your swiffer wet jet is in prime working condition and be patient. We have caught one pee and two poops on the potty. We have only been at it for a day though. Oh and no TV. We were most successful when the TV was off.
The other thing is don't do the full day diaper free unless you are feeling good yourself. I am at the leading edge of a cold right now and pretty low energy, this morning I just had a sore throat but wasn't feeling lousy. We caught the pee and a poop. As I started to feel worse, I wasn't as observant and I missed the cues that she needed to pee and poop and missed them and we were a foot away from the potty for both. .
DH has made me take a decongestant and a vitamin C bomb and I feel somewhat better. So hopefully tomorrow goes better.
