We have a major cat problem on our street. This woman keeps her garage door cracked open, keeps food and water inside and lets the cats roam the streets. They're strays, they're not her cats.
They crawl under our house, they poop in our yard, sleep on our car, they keep having more and more kittens.... it's out of control.
Is there someone I can call so this woman will stop?! We've tried talking to her, but she says "she can't just stop feeding them. They'll starve." Ugh.
Re: CRAZY CAT LADY!
If they are strays, then you should contact a no-kill shelter that would humanely trap the cats and spay/neuter them. I'm not sure who that would be, but you could call around.
I get frustrated with the people in my neighborhood that have cats that roam. They have homes, but they are allowed to roam and we live near a very busy street. I just don't understand it.

OMG, your mom is an angel. I was just going to get it all over with and set out some anti-freeze.
kidding.
we had tons and tons of cats in our old neighborhood that didn't belong to anyone but everyone fed them so they didn't go anywhere. I called some places, but no one would do anything except put them down which I didn't want.
There was a place that would spay/neuter them for like $35 or something, but we weren't paying for all those cats to get fixed.
It totally sucks and I don't think there is anything you can do about it. Sorry, sister!
Just another reason to move, huh? .....
yep
just make sure you check out your new neighbors and make sure none of them like cats!
