Trying to start a cleaning schedule
Well just like my post said I'm trying to start a cleaning schedule...I'm not a slob but I'm also not the cleanest person either. Where can I find a mock cleaning schedule to create my own or follow from?
thanks in advance!!

Re: Trying to start a cleaning schedule
Have you tried flylady.net? She helped me get my schedule together.
I made my own. I broke the house up into little zones and assigned each zone a day. I don't spend more than 30-45 minutes cleaning each day. I also make sure to sweep the house and pick up at the end of the day, too.
Some days it's a battle, though.
I'm not sure what your struggles are so some of those recs may be really good in helping you to get started. But I made my own as well and it seems to work really well for me. I'm a SAHW so I do have the time to put into it (not sure if that is your case or not), so this may or may not work for you....
Mon - BIG cleaning day! I clean everything upstairs and down. That includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, picking up, cleaning tubs/showers, cleaning counters, etc. I devote my entire day to it.
Tues - I finish up anything I may have not done the day before. I also do some of my more heavy-duty cleaning like dusting the vents/base boards/window sills, wiping down windows inside, changing the bedding (if needed), cleaning out the fridge/freezer, etc. It's also my laundry day, so I get caught up on all of that.
Wed - I mow the lawn, pick up outside, and do any yard work that may be needed.
Thus - errand day....I do my grocery shopping, running errands, etc. It's also my baking day so I get caught up on any baking I need to do as well as food prep for my menu for the week.
Fri - free day. I would like to get involved in volunteering, so that'll be a day that I can spend doing that. I also use it for relaxing, shopping, etc....whatever I want!
Twice a year (Fall/Spring), I shampoo the carpets, clean the windows outside, change out filters (if needed), do any outdoor prep work for Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer, etc.
I borrowed this from another nestie and made it my own. It' only take 20 mins a day at my house:)
