How to store DH's shoes/sneakers?
He has a LOT. I'm talking at least 20+ pairs in the bedroom. We have shelves in there for those alone. He wears size 12, so they don't fit in the traditional over-the-door shoe holders. Our closets are rather shallow, so we can't really fit shelves in there either.
Other than having him pair down (which I'm trying to do), how do you store them?

Why does he need so many shoes? I'm thinking men should have 5 pair, a black pair, brown pair, tennis shoes, sandals, and maybe another. Find somewhere to store his shoes that he rarely wears (such as some sort of under bed storage, it doesn't have to be made specifically for shoes to put shoes in it). DH has 2 pair "out", his tennis shoes and his work shoes. The others stay out of the way.
My husband has basketball shoes, running shoes, turf shoes (for football), cross-trainers, plus dress shoes and casual shoes. All of the sports shoes go in our coat closet.

I got this for DH's size 12 shoes and it works perfectly. Very sturdy. Side mesh pockets come in handy too. Each holds 10 pair so get two and you'll be set.
