Kitchen Crocs

Who has Crocs for the kitchen? Do they make a huge difference? I've just been in there baking for a few hours and I'm WIPED OUT and my back is screaming. I have tile floors, if that makes a difference.

Re: Kitchen Crocs

  • I think Fallin does. I have been contemplating but haven't made the jump yet.

  • I know. I'm afraid to bring these things into my home. It's a slippery slope. I DO have a small laundry area right in the kitchen so I'm thinking maybe if I store them in there, no one ever has to know.

  • I used to have some but my cat ate them.  They were really nice fore long stretches, but I haven't bothered replacing them (they were a gift).

  • Mike has some for yard work. I'm contemplating a kitchen pair too, I tend to cook barefoot on tile and my legs and back ache if I'm working on a long project.

  • Yes.  Tile floors in the kitchen are a biitch.  I found they helped the lower back burning a lot.  They also were decently helpful with traction b/c my tile floor was slick as ice when any water got on it. Great kitchen design.

ETA:  I've had them several years and they've never been out of the house (except to the complex's pool).  They are just too ugly to be a temptation to wear out.

I have no doubt that I will accidentally forget to change my shoes and wear the out. I have done this many times with the flip flops I wear around the house.
