I'm baaaack!!!
Hey girls! HH and I had a great weekend camping and spending time with family =] I got some great pictures of the falls and lake, and HH caught a 23 inch bass!!! It was HUGE! lol Unfortunatley we are now back to civilization and the real world... How was everyone else's Labor Day weekend??

I worked Fri, Saturday and Sunday. Today Adam and I had a lazy morning, spent a gift card to BB&B that we got for our wedding from a lady at work, then went to Old Navy and then grocery shopped at Target! To top it off, we grilled out some steaks! Yum!

Sounds like you all had a great weekend to =] Now that I'm back to work, I'm trying to get back in sync with everything I missed last week and catch up on my nesting to!
Hmm...I'm going to try to remember what I did this weekend. It might be tough as much of it in covered in an alcohol haze, haha (I swear to God I'm not an alcoholic...but it was a long weekend!!)
Friday night after Dave finished work we went shopping. I didn't buy any clothes (actually RETURNED a pair of shorts, so go me!) but I did buy a bunch of stuff at Michael's because they were having their big labour day sale.
Ummm we were planning on going camping but Earl put the kibosh on that one, so on Saturday we had the greatest, laziest day ever. Earl didn't actually hit us that hard so we didn't lose power or anything, but it was pretty rainy so we just sat around in our jogging pants and watched tv and read books, and FINISHED OUR THANK YOU CARDS!!! Helllllls yeah! It was honestly a really fun and relaxing day.
On Sunday we got up early and went for a run, then we went to church, then we went to Costco. Thennn we went to this gorgeous park that's close to our house. It's the largest Urban park in Eastern Canada, there's a million things to do there (hiking, kayaking, cross country ski trails in the winter, wagon/sleigh rides, rock climbing, even a zoo...it's pretty awesome). We brought our roller blades and attempted to roller blade, but had to stop because I suck at roller blading and I went down a really steep hill and ended up in a ditch. It was pretty hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing after that, so we just took them off and walked through some of the hiking trails. We also went to a little arts festival in the afternoon.
Yesterday we went to an auction. It was all liquidated furniture and electronics from companies across North America that have gone bankrupt. We went because we were hoping to get a dining room table, but they only had one that we liked and we were outbid on it. We did end up getting a $700 dinette set for $175, so we were pretty pumped about that!! The deals were just incredible there, there were three $15,000 bedroom sets that went for $3400 each. And a bunch of Italian leather sofa sets that were in the $10,000-11,000 range that went for about $1200. I think I might be hooked on auctions now!!

My weekend was good. We went to a wedding Saturday, church and hiking on Sunday, and ran a 5k and hung out with my best friend and her husband yesterday.
