Moving to NC!
Hello Nesties: I was recently married in NJ and have lived in NY for the past 24 years. My husband is attending school in NC and we are moving there this week. I am so nervous! I am afraid I won't fit in down south or will miss my family too much.
What do you think?

We moved to Raleigh from NJ about 2.5 years ago and love it! It definitely will be different from up north, but I think you'll like it!
Where in NC are you moving to? Depending on what area you'll be in, there could be quite a few northerners. Also, you'll probably see much less snow than in NY, which means less shoveling! We invite our friends and family to come visit during the late fall or early spring since it is usually much warmer down here and they are looking for a break from the cold!

I'm sure you'll love it! I moved from Ohio 9 years ago and wouldn't move back for anything! My husband is a NC native, and likes to make fun of "yankees," but it's all in good fun.
