So how was the weekend?
Hope everyone had a great long weekend. Things here were nutty had a BBQ, went to see the Expendables, lots of yard work....and best of all went flying with my cousin in his new plane 
I actually still have a huge goofy smile on my face from the flying part. It was a riot - few things in life make me happier than some time in a single engine. Its been ages since I've been able to flex the old piloting skills. We even dropped his wife off on the ground so we could go up and do some crazy stuff like pulling zero G drops, taking hard banks and running touch and go's the grass landing strip. Good times!!
Anyone else have anything fun happen?

Nothing fun. We saw The American on Friday--if you haven't seen it, don't (or wait for it on DVD). I wanted to see Machete, but DH didn't/doesn't seem too excited about it. This weekend, though, will be fabulous with a Greek festival and Girl in a Coma!
I'm late on this, but better late than never.
I've actually been working. hehe
Friday night I got some reading done for class. We spent a few hours on both Saturday and Sunday cleaning out our basement. We were incredibly surprised how quickly we got through everything, and we were able to throw away a ton of stuff. We still have a massive pile of stuff to donate, but I'm going to schedule a pick up of those items. That was the "major" project we needed to get done, now its onto small items and lots of painting (we're listing our house in January). We had dinner w/ some new friends on Monday night and had an absolute blast! It was so nice to have people that are on the same page in their lives as we are and they are so incredibly nice. We all stayed out way too late and drank way too much so Tuesday sucked getting over that, but overall we had a great time. It was the first weekend in awhile that we got stuff done around the house and felt a great sense of accomplishment, we both got some homework done, got to go shopping, and just spend time together (which is rare for us).
I wish we could have more weekends like that. Def hated coming back to work!
